Beer for a Cure raised $2,700 for charity

Thank you to everyone who turned out for this year’s Beer for a Cure event. It was a fun evening with an entertaining English-themed quiz (thanks to Martin Long, Quiz Master extraordinaire), a successful live auction (thanks to this year’s auctioneer, Nick Pashley) and fantastic songs care of Benny Caruana and his guitar! And of course all of the cask beers were very tasty indeed, pairing well with the delicious four-course meal!

Thanks to your generous support we were able to raise $2,700 for charity. The funds will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Prostate Cancer Canada.

Special thanks to all the folks at The Granite Brewery and Tied House for supporting this event every year and for looking after us so well.
